GREAT KIVA, AZTEC RUINS NATIONAL MONUMENT - #2364
This Great Kiva, reconstructed in 1934, is the only fully restored one in existence. It was originally built in the 12th Century by Ancestral Puebloans (Anasazi) from, or related to, the great culture at Chaco Canyon. Kivas were used for important tribal ceremonies.
