SPRUCE TREE HOUSE AT MESA VERDE - #3338
Built by Ancestral Puebloans (Anasazi) between 1200 and 1276 A.D., Spruce Tree House is the third largest cliff dwelling in Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. It contained 114 rooms and 8 kivas. The Park Service reconstructed the roofs of these 2 kivas in the foreground.
