SUPERNOVA PETROGLYPHS - #3551
Hohokam crescent and encircled cross petroglyphs may depict the supernova that formed the Crab Nebula. This rendition, found at Painted Rock Petroglyph Site, closely matches the view of April 13, 1054 CE when the objects were very close to each other and visible in the western sky.
